This phase exhibits gd hydrlytic stability, brad chiral selectivity, and are excellent fr aliphatic and aratic aines. It is als gd fr any aliphatic and se aratic esters as well as exhibiting high efficiency and reslutin at lw retentin ties fr plar raceates.

Size Selectivity:
Bth speed and saple capacity indicate a surface type echanis fr very plar raceates. Large bulky lecules still require a larger surface area than beta prvides, therefre, an increase in selectivity is seen n the gaa derivative fr fused ring structures. The saller alpha cavity ffered n selectivity while the beta cvered the largest range f lecular sizes but the chice between beta and gaa is cpund dependent fr this phase.
